A soft touch on his forearm brought Tessler back into the moment–a perfect moment with a man who was changing the way he looked at life and at himself.
Tessler's eyes dropped to the spot where Mason was touching him and where warmth was now radiating out in waves from that one simple touch. He placed his own hand on top of Mason's and squeezed it.
“Where'd you just go on me?” Mason asked quietly.
“Childhood,” Tessler answered. “Sorry about that.”
“As long as you're back with me now, it's all good.”
